Being Sikh
I interviewed my cousin Kunwar Kaur the other day with a bunch of cultural questions. Quite honestly, I didn't expect answers with so much depth. I realized that that the music, food, and respect are a big part of my culture. Every single thing that my cousin said, I agreed with. I guess this is what makes me love the Punjabi culture. The music is upbeat and lively and that is what defines my culture. Though we are respectful and regious to an extent, we value fun. We value family. Like my cousin, I also love food and Punjabis are known for eating a lot. This interview made me realize that even though I usually don't embrace my culture, I really should.
