Empanadas Tutorial

The holidays are long over...but thankfully my mom finally agreed to make empanadas again. Origanolly I was supposed to take the girls to a Good Friday Party but seeing how much they loved the food in the restaurent I decided to invite them over to a tutorial on how to make empanadas. Empanadas are made all over Colombia with differing ingredients the usual being potatoes, meat or chicken, or vegetables. Right of the bat you can see my mom's empanadas don't contain the typical ingredients. They have rice and eggs which is my favorite part. I wasn't sure how the girls would like the substitutions but thankfully they loved them as much as I do. From this good eats all us also got to learn the process of making them.
