Fun with Colombia

The flavors of the food I had at Parador Rojo, a small colombian restaurant, still dance on my tongue. I shared a plate with Josephine and it turned out one platter was more than enough for two people. The dish itself is called “Lomo de Cerdo y Pollo con Camarones” and it was delicious. It was a mix of all types of foods that I love. It had shrimp, potatoes, rice, and more. There was also this distinct sauce that I used with my food and it was so unique! I absolutely loved it! The ambiance in the small restaurant really gave a Colombian feel. There was a TV in the back that had Spanish music playing which just added to the experience. As we sat there eating our food, we began talking about where we come from. I told the girls that I had never been to India even though I know so much about it and the girls told me about their visits to their homelands. Overall, it was a fun experience and I am definitely going back!
