Indian Movie Night

I love indian movies. I don't know if it is the drama or the constant songs but there is something so deeply affecting about these movies that reels me in. My whole family, inculding my cousins, decided to have an indian movie night. We watched Hum Saath Saath Hain which is a movie about deep-rooted indian family values. Another movie we watched is Kal Ho Naa Ho and this movie really plays on the whole concept of an arranged marriage. I realized that the most signficant parts of the indian culture are portrayed through these movies. Arranged marriages, respecting elders, and the idea of unity are all important aspects of the indian culture and are emphasized in these movies. Apart from all this, the best part of an indian movie is the music. There are atleast four to five songs in an indian movie. These songs make the movie even livelier. I love that my culture includes all these varying aspects which makes it so much more fun to learn about.
