Mrs. Alegun's store (Mandip's Experience)

This week we went to Mrs. Alegun's store. This store is located in Plainfield and included various exported products from Nigeria. Although there were some things like (spices, maggi, etc.) that I use, there were other things that I never knew about. Even the soap, Duda Osun is different. This soap is made from all natural ingredients and it is a different color. We later tried soda that was exported from Nigeria and it also had this distinct tangy taste. I realized how varied food and products are in the world. Afterwards, we went to a nearby columbian bakery to try Bunuelos (a type of sweet dessert). I experienced the rich culture of Colombia and Nigeria by simply walking through stores in America.
